LOOKING BACK ONE YEAR AGO

Looking back, one year ago today, I can still remember so vividly Savior being thrown from a vehicle on I-40 at 55 mph.  She was running down the center lane. Prior to being thrown out that night, she suffered countless abuse and neglect.

It was a long road for her as well as me. Savior had a long list of medical issues.  For weeks she had terrible dreams at night. I would wake her up to let her know she is ok, "nobody is hurting you now". The dreams lasted for weeks but she finally got past that and all her medical issues one by one. We made it through but not without the overwhelming support of all the kind folks.  Support from people in Memphis to all over the United States and beyond. We had support from all corners of the world. Savior's video has been seen in 18 countries and viewed over 630 times.

She adjusted well to her new life, not without some struggles, but I would do it over and over again to save a dog like her.  She is a joy to be around every day.  After all the support she received, we wanted to give back to other animals in the same situation she came from.  We started the Savior Foundation in April of this year.  We have helped seven dogs to date.  We have changed their world through your support.

We will be having our 2nd annual dinner soon.  This event keeps us running all year.  We will post the details soon for the dinner.  It is a great way to support us and meet everyone. Thanks to all!
