THE TIME IS NOW - Tuesday, 9-14 3:30 PM
An unprecedented moment in the history of Memphis.
Memphis City Council has scheduled the vote on the Spay/Neuter ordinance for the September 14th meeting - next Tuesday at 3:30 PM. It is a 2nd reading but they are asking that it be adopted(or rejected) at this meeting. There is still a great deal of opposition to an ordinance. The opposition will be in attendance.
On behalf of every animal needing rescue.....every animal euthanized.. ...every animal subjected to cruelty & abandonment. ....and every unwanted starving animal walking our streets PLEASE BE AT CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON TUESDAY 9-14-10 at 3:30 PM.

.7. ORDINANCE to amend Chapter 5, Animals and Fowl, Section 5-60 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Memphis, to require dog restraints by tie-outs or overhead cables to be in addition to traditional fencing and that dogs restrained by tie-outs or overhead

8. ORDINANCE to amend Chapter 5, Animals and Fowl, Article III.5, Dangerous/Vicious Animals, of the Code of Ordinances, City of Memphis, to require sterilization of dogs who have bitten and declare vicious dogs who have bitten once and been found running
at large twice, up for S E C ON D reading. Ware Ordinance No. 5379 ACTION REQUESTED: Adopt the ordinance on Second reading
